All Hearthstone players ought to use overkill whenever possible. It is meant to give out extraordinary destruction when played. The chaos and rush to charge it creates can be quite stunning for either side, so it is in the gamer’s best interest to use it whenever they can if they want to win. Hearthstone’s complexity is increased by overkill, which might be what the game needs to do to retain its fans and win over new ones. It’s quite amazing to watch.
When you kill a character or minion by inflicting excessive damage with the aid of a keyword, overkill is triggered. You may also be able to receive bonuses from it, but it depends on the card being used. These vary according to circumstance. Rastakhan’s Rumble, an expansion, was the first to use Overkill. The keyword aims to highlight the arena theme present in this expansion.
You must have at least one point of excess damage to experience the effects of Overkill. For instance, you can kill a minion with less health to activate it if you have an attack weapon with a certain number of attack points and Overkill. Depending on the card and the situation, it has a favorable knock-on effect for the lucky user.

It is unquestionably true that you will have a significant advantage over your opponent if you use these cards wisely. With just one use of it, you could win the game. As can be seen on some of the Hearthstone community boards, it does take some time to fully understand how and when to use it. Finding memorable keywords can be challenging, but once you master Overkill, it is incredible to see it in action.
Instead of expanding the board, the use of overkill is intended to add more layers to how you play the game. It is intended for you to use your intelligence to develop a fresh plan to defeat and triumph. Having this advantage is uncommon, so you should take advantage of it when it presents itself. It was introduced in the December 4, 2018 expansion.
As for strategies, I believe that that is a very broad question, but a player could use it to gain tempo by slightly Overkilling a minion to summon another, such as using the 5 mana Baited Arrow to kill another minion with 2 or less health remaining, to summon a 5/5 Devilsaur at the same time.
Ironhide Direhorn looks like another good card if it could survive a turn/attack immediately, perhaps when combod with Rush to let it Overkill a minion and summon a 5/5 Ironhide Runt.
Personally, I think Totemic Smash looks like it will give the best value for a Turn 1 play if the opponent plays a card with 1 HP; or it could also be used to remove another minion if you lack 1 HP to kill it with your other minions on board, in order to Overkill by 1 HP.
Rastakhan’s Rumble: Release Date
Rastakhans Rumble will be released on Tuesday 4th December 2018. Keep in mind that the single-player Rumble Run content will debut on December 13th, a little later in the month. That gives both the new meta and the new adventure plenty of time to enjoy their time in the spotlight with the Hearthstone player base.
