A Feed the Beast FTB modpack is a collection of mods created by the Minecraft community to enhance the look and feel of the original game. Installing the Launcher is required if you’re new to Modpacks and Feed the Beast. Modpacks are installed, maintained, and played on your computer or a multiplayer server by a launcher. Install and launch in 4 simple steps.

1. Navigate to the Feed The Beast website and click the download button under “Windows”.
2. Click and run the .exe file after it has finished downloading.
3. It will take a moment to load, after it has, click Next.
4. Change the directory if you wish, then next again.

Some of the most well-known modpacks ever made for Minecraft are owned by a group of modpack creators called Feed The Beast (FTB). They offer a large variety of modpacks that span all genres.

Download Server Files Using the FTB App

You must use the FTB App to download the server files before you can install the modpack.

• Download and open the FTB App.
• To look for your modpack, select Browse from the left sidebar.
• Type in the search box to locate your modpack.
• Click on the modpack to access its main page. Note: You can determine how much RAM your server might need to run the modpack using the system requirements.
• Click Versions.
• Click the Server files button in the top right corner after choosing the version you want to use. The latest version of your modpack is displayed by default.
• Once selected, your browser will open. Choose your operating system from the drop-down menu under Select Your Operating System.
• Save the downloaded file.

Download Server Files Using the Feed The Beast Website

Use the FTB website as an alternative to the FTB App to access the server files.

• Click the Modpacks tab on the Feed The Beast website.
• Find and open the modpack you wish to install. In this tutorial, we will install FTB Endeavour.
• Select Versions, then beneath Server Files, select the operating system you’re using.
• The downloaded file should be saved on your computer in a new folder.

Running The Installer and Uploading Server Files

You must launch the Installer after downloading it in order to access the server files.

• Run the installer file you downloaded. A terminal prompt will open.
• Press Enter on your keyboard to install the files in your current directory after Where would you like to install the server? Then, press y, followed by Enter to accept the warning.
• For the modpack installation to continue, press y and then Enter once more.
• When the installation process is complete, a folder containing the downloaded server files will be opened.
• Rename the Forge server file from forge-xxxx. jar to custom. jar. The custom. Depending on the version of Minecraft you’re playing, jar will change.
• Delete the serverinstall_xxxx.exe file and any .bat or .sh files.
• Use FTP to upload the items in this folder to your server.

• Start your server and enjoy playing your new FTB modpack!
