FAQ
How can I make chain armor in Minecraft?
Chainmail armor is currently unobtainable through crafting. Though very damaged, it can be enchanted, and it only occasionally drops from zombies and skeletons, it can be traded for, found in chests, or discovered.
Why is chain armor not craftable?
Since its infamously impossible fire crafting recipe was eliminated, chain mail armor has been without a crafting recipe. But because iron nuggets have only recently been added, I think chain mail should be made using the conventional armor recipes, but with iron nuggets.
