First things first, gather the following ingredients to create an invisibility potion:

- Nether wart
- Fermented Spider Eye
To make a Potion of Nightvision, which calls for a Nether wart, a bottle of water, and a golden carrot, you actually need to make another one first.
As these are the only two locations where the Nether wart can be found, you must go to Nether Fortresses or Bastion Remnants.
To make the water bottle, expand your crafting grid and place glass blocks on the top row’s far left and right corners, followed by one more in the middle. This will earn you three water bottles, and all you have to do to fill them is locate a water source.
You should also head to the Bastion Remnants to find that golden carrot, though you might also find one in the Ruined Portals. Alternately, return to the crate-laying table and place a carrot in the center. The carrot can then be made by surrounding it with eight golden nuggets.
You can now combine the ingredients at a brewing stand to create a Potion of Nightvision. The way to set this out is as follows:
- Placing the blaze powder in the far-left box will turn on the brewing stand. If necessary, add some blaze rod to the crafting table to create this.
- Place the water bottle in one of the bottom row’s boxes at this point.
- Add the Nether Wart to the brewing stand’s top box at this time.
- This will produce the awkward potion, but there is still one more step you must complete to obtain the required potion.
- You can now create the Potion of Nightvision by placing the Golden Carrot in the top box.
However, the invisibility potion is still not available (we did say this was a lengthy process). Next up, you need the horridly named Fermented Spider Eye.
