Soulbound is a great map for those looking to use their heads to prevail. Delivering on promises of both action and suspense, Soulbound will take you across 12 levels of puzzle solving, boss-slaying, story packed thrill and adventure. It features seven to 12 hours of gameplay, so you can expect a ton of fun between you and the friend you take along on the journey.
Even special resource packs are available in the game for players one and two. Player one uses a bow and can start conversations with NPCs, whereas player two uses a sword and cannot. You can anticipate boss fights, unique soundtracks and textures, and puzzles during those many hours of gameplay. This map is excellent for those looking for a more perplexing twist to an otherwise exciting and compelling story.
4 Sword Of Light
If youre a fan of Zelda and other games of a similar style, then the Sword of Light map is for you. You and a friend head to an unnamed land seeking a hidden treasure in the elusive “Cliffside Temple” while locals whisper rumors of a “Dark Power” and monsters. The gameplay centers around puzzle solving, parkour-focused dungeon crawling, and slaying monsters while you look for the unnamed treasure.
The map was also made by hand, without the aid of a world editor. Spaniel, the map’s creator, also claims that it took almost four years to complete, so there is no need to worry about it being unpolished. When the market seems to be dry and none of your other games are catching your attention, it’s the ideal map to play with friends.
3 Payday 2: Endgame
We had the fantastic opportunity to see our favorite Payday characters in all of their blocky glory thanks to Payday 2: Endgame, which is good enough to have been a standalone spinoff from the creators of the Payday series. This is a great option for when you want to have casual fun with friends because it has four player cooperative play, seven heists, and three major locations. For those who have played the game for a while, there will be plenty of nostalgia as four of the maps’ missions are modeled after Payday 2 missions.
There is only about one to three hours of gameplay on this map, which is its only drawback. It’s a fantastic option for everyone, from the casual player to the diehard Payday devotees. The scenarios of the heists are great as well. How cool is it that on New Year’s Eve you can rob an old man?
2 Miscommunications 2
Do you and your friends struggle with call-outs during games? If youre looking to strengthen your bond as a team, this is the map for you. Miscommunications 2 is one of the funniest maps available simply because of the premise: you and three friends try to solve puzzles, but are limited in the words you can use. As you may have guessed, its bound to devolve into total chaos.
Three of the seven puzzles on the map were present in the previous Miscommunications episode. You and your friends decide the puzzle’s rules, so you can make it as challenging as you like. The time it takes to complete the map will depend on your communication skills, but it should take no more than three hours. As you navigate the challenges of the map, buckle up and get ready for excruciating headaches and exhilarating laughter.
1 Coldest Winter
A plane crash and a survival situation are presented in the opening scene of Coldest Winter, which is very reminiscent of The Forest. This two-part map can only be played with four players. Because of this map’s temperature, gather your friends and your jackets. Part 1 of the map focuses on surviving in a harsh environment that is much more challenging than the typical Minecraft world, but not everything is as it seems.
You and your friends come across a mansion that provides a welcome refuge from the desolate tundra as you make your way into phase two. You may discover as you move through the twisting corridors and explore that this mansion is a little more than just a refuge from the icy exterior. Strange secrets and hidden crawlspaces litter the mansion, but what use will they serve? It seems that you face far more fearsome foes than the bitter cold.
