The good news is that anyone can figure out how to teleport in Minecraft by following a few easy steps. The only drawback is that it differs depending on whether a player is using a PC, console, or mobile device, so they will need to learn a new technique. - Either press the right D-pad button on your controller or the T button on your keyboard.
- Now that the command area has appeared, type this into it: /tp.
- Now, you will want to use the unique coordinates that each Minecraft location has.
How to Teleport in Minecraft Survival Mode
To teleport in Minecraft without using cheats, you must obtain an Ender Pearl. You must hunt for this item in Stronghold chests or by killing Endermen mobs because it cannot be crafted.

When you have an Ender Pearl, you can use one of the following actions after throwing it wherever you want to teleport to:
- Java Edition: Right-click.
- Pocket Edition: Tap where Ender Pearl lands.
- PS3/PS4: Press “L2” button.
- Xbox 360/Xbox One: Press “LT” button.
- Wii U/Switch: Press “ZL” button.
How to Teleport in Creative Mode
Make sure that cheats are enabled in the game’s settings before using them in Creative Mode. This applies to Minecraft Java Edition, Bedrock, and Pocket Edition.
You can teleport to any coordinates when your cheats are active by carrying out the following steps:
- Press “T” to open the console
- Type in “/tp x y z”
- Press Enter
The coordinates of your choosing are represented by the “x y z” values. For instance, type “/tp 100 75 -100” to teleport to coordinates 100, 75, and -100.
Method 2: For Consoles
Unfortunately, you cannot teleport to any coordinates in the console versions of Minecraft. You can only teleport to another player in multiplayer mode.
If you want to teleport to another player, follow these instructions:
- Go to Game Options menu
- Select Host Priveleges option
- Press “B” on Xbox 360/Xbox One or “circle” on PS3/PS4
- Load the game
- Press “X” on Xbox 360/Xbox One or “PS” on PS3/PS4
- Select Host Options
- Press Teleport to Player
Last but not least, select a friend’s name from the list to be instantly teleported to their coordinates.
