The year’s most anticipated event, Minecraft Live 2021, was held by Mojang last week. At the event, Mojang officially announced the 1. 19 update titled The Wild Update.

Every week, Mojang releases a new beta version of Bedrock Edition, but this time, developers have taken players by surprise with a new game update.
Minecraft 1. 17. The 40 Bedrock update is now available and includes several new test features. This update addresses numerous problems with performance, stability, gameplay, mobs, blocks, user interface, and other aspects in addition to upcoming world generation changes.
MINECRAFT: JAVA EDITION (PC / MAC)
Start by opening the Minecraft launcher. You can get the launcher here if you don’t already have it. The launcher should automatically show you the latest release. If not, select “Latest Release” by clicking the arrow to the right of the play button. Easy!.
Search for “Minecraft” in the app store or Google Play on your device. If you already own Minecraft, you should be asked to update it if it hasn’t already. Simply click “Open” to start playing if you have the most recent version installed.
Visit “My Apps” Go to the list and choose “Manage game.” Any updates will be available here. Your game is completely updated if there are no available updates here!
Minecraft for PS4 should update automatically. If your PS4’s update settings are not automatic, you can choose the game using the “options” button and then choose “check for update” from the newly added menu.
Minecraft for Windows should update to the latest version automatically. If not, open the Microsoft Store, choose “Downloads and updates” from the menu that appears when you click the three dots in the top right corner. Choose “Get updates” from this point on, and all of your installed programs—including Minecraft—should update!
Simply launch Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, and a window describing the new Minecraft will appear. You can download the most recent version of Minecraft from the eShop if you click the button in this window. As an alternative, you could go to the eShop and look for a game simply called “Minecraft.” If you follow us on Switch, we’ll let you know when we release new console updates!
To download the update, navigate to Store by clicking the magnifying glass icon, typing “Minecraft,” and then selecting it when it appears. Once downloaded, the icon will appear in the “Recent” section of the Home tab. Highlight Minecraft, click the menu button (three horizontal lines), and select “More Info” to update the game. The ‘Update’ button will appear under the games’ description, and clicking it will launch the update. Hooray!.
