Uploading Minecraft Worlds to a Server

Nothing compares to playing the map you’ve been working on on a multiplayer server. To do this, simply download your single-player worlds and upload them to your Minecraft server. This works for both Bedrock and Java edition servers.

Any version will work with this, but after the 1 18 – 1. 19 updates. Once an older world is used with 1. 18-1. Due to the world generation, it cannot then be used for an older version again. So, make a backup of the original; however, since our guide only creates a copy of the single-player world, it is fine to use it.

  • Once you’ve logged in to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, locate the world you want to use and select Edit.
  • Find a location on your computer to export it to after clicking “export world” at the bottom of the page.
  • Right click on the . Use 7-zip (or your preferred method of extraction) and select “Open Archive” to open the mcworld file.
  • Now that they are all in one location, select these files and drag them into an empty folder on your computer.
  • Stop your Bedrock server now, and use FileZilla to access your server.

  • Now select the files you downloaded from your Minecraft world and move them from your computer’s left side to your server’s right side.
  • Now choose to replace the older server files with the more recent ones on your computer.
  • The world will now be uploaded to your Bedrock Minecraft server once you start it up.

Move the following files: Data, Datapacks, Entities, Playerdata, Poi, Region, and Level. dat – Level. dat. old Ensure that you choose to replace the original server files.
  • Your single-player world will be uploaded to your server and be ready to play once the files have been transferred.

Your single-player worlds can now be exported or uploaded to your server with ease. All of your older icon worlds can now be uploaded and shared with other online players!
