Pokemon Go Ghost Type Nest Locations, Where To Find Ghost Pokemon 2022?

Catching 10 Ghost-type Pokemon is required to complete the Special Research quest in Pokemon GO in order to capture Mew. Here is where to find them.

To find and capture Mew in Pokemon GO’s Special Research quest, players must complete challenging tasks like catching a Ditto and evolving Magikarp into Gyarados. Catching 10 Ghost-type Pokemon is another goal that seems to stump players, but there are some things to remember that might help.

But before we do that, it’s crucial for players to be aware of all the various ghost-type Pokemon that are currently accessible in Pokemon GO:

Although this is largely based on anecdotal evidence, it does appear that urban areas and churches are the most likely places for ghost-type Pokemon to spawn. Due to this, Pokemon GO players seeking ghost-type Pokemon may want to travel to a city for their Pokemon hunting.

Ghost-type Pokemon are also more likely to spawn at night. In fact, some ghost-type Pokemon, like Dusclops and Banette, seem to only spawn at night. The hours between 8 p.m. and 9 a.m. are regarded as “night” for Pokemon GO, though the precise time may vary by region. In any case, players should find it simpler to find ghost-type Pokemon once night falls in the app.

The weather system in Pokemon GO is another factor to consider when looking for ghost-type Pokemon. Ghost-type Pokemon are boosted by the weather and will appear more frequently when it’s foggy outside. Players may want to set aside some time to go Pokemon hunting if it happens to be particularly foggy outside (and this is noted in-game).

In addition, players could capture ghost-type Pokemon by making them spawn as rewards for Field Research quests or by eliminating them in raids. Duskull, Gengar, Sableye, and Shuppet are the four ghost-type Pokemon that are currently showing up in raids. All of them should be defeatable with a squad of three or more.

Even though finding 10 ghost-type Pokemon takes time and is one of the trickier Special Research tasks, it is definitely doable with enough patience. Players may want to look into the local Pokemon GO community to speed up the process as there are frequently Facebook and Discord groups devoted to tracking down things like Pokemon nests that could make finding 10 ghost-types much simpler.

Before Pokemon GO players start looking for 10 ghost-type Pokemon, there are a few restrictions to be aware of. Unfortunately, creating a ghost-type Pokemon from an egg and evolving one into a different form don’t count toward one’s advancement.

Players should be able to catch 10 ghost-type Pokemon in Pokemon GO more easily if they keep these guidelines in mind.

Ghost-type Pokemon have an increased chance to spawn in foggy weather or in their respective nest areas spread throughout the world.

Where To Find Ghost Pokemon 2022?

Unfortunately, Niantic rotates the Pokemon that are available at any given time and season, making it difficult to find ghost Pokemon. However, this does not mean that these Pokemon have been completely removed from the game. Pokemon of the Ghost type are more likely to spawn in foggy conditions or at their various global nesting sites.

A higher chance to hatch a Shiny Noibat, which is available for the first time, was also included in part 1 of the event.

Galarian Yamask is also available Shiny for the first time, and it appears in many of this event’s Timed and Special Research.

With the second phase of the event, special versions of Vulpix, Ninetails, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, and Gourgeist wearing Halloween attire will also be released. If you’re fortunate, you might come across Shiny variants of these Pokémon.

When the game is launched during this event, the “Mysterious Masks” Special Research Tasks, which grant rewards of both types of Yamask and Yamask Candy, are permanently unlocked.
