4 Barbara and Bennett – Barbennett
Barbara is one of the sweetest characters in the game, and poor Bennett is the unluckiest. When Bennett goes out adventuring, he almost always gets hurt and when he does, he heads to the church where Barbara is always waiting to help patch him up. She worries about him a lot and theres a very caring dynamic between the pair.
Bennett always goes to Barbaras concerts, and speaks highly of her skill as an artist. Barbara spends a lot of time worrying about Bennetts safety and wants him to stay safe. This is a cute pairing we can get behind in the future.
7 Xiao and Venti – Xiaoven
While at first glance these two seem a contrasting pair, Xiao often seems to go to visit Venti as it is mentioned that he appears on nights when Venti plays his flute. Xiao was also saved by Ventis song when he was on the verge of dying due to his karma build-up. Many players note that in Xiaos voice line about Venti, he seems incredibly guarded. Interestingly Xiaos name card also mentions that he wants to dance in the flowers to the sound of Ventis flute.
Both characters may appear as young adults/teens, but they are actually over 2,000 years old, having both faced a number of traumatic events during their long lives. An Archon and an Adeptus are also likely to share a bond of understanding that not many would and the pairs actions and interactions show a mutual respect that a relationship could be built on.
6 Jean And Diluc – Jeanluc
Jean and Diluc are probably one of the relationships closest to actually happening in the game. The two know each other very well, having worked together for a number of years, and Diluc admits to having great respect for Jean. Its also revealed that as kids, they both had pet tortoises, and many players think they grew up close.
Even through his disdain for The Knights of Favonius Diluc maintains his admiration towards her. He even allows the Knights of Favonius to throw a party for her at his bar, with free drinks to help her relax. This shows him putting aside his very deep grudge in order to ensure Jean has a much-deserved break.
