How To Find Item ID Minecraft
If tooltips are enabled, press F3 H to find the Minecraft ID of any item in the game. To view an item or block’s ID, simply hover over it. Along with the names of the typical items listed in game brackets, the numbers are also listed.
You can immediately hover over the items in your inventory to obtain their IDs after turning on the Debug tooltips.
Unlike other games, Minecraft doesn’t have numeric IDs for items. Instead, special strings can be entered to retrieve the desired item. Typically, these strings correspond to the exact wording of the items, such as minecraft:andesite for andesite, minecraft:diorite for diorite, etc.
If there are any spaces in the names of items, such as “Polished Granite,” an underscore (_) will be used in its place. e. minecraft:polished_granite.
