I’ve previously saved Court files, and I’ve repeatedly saved the specific file that is the subject of my post without any issues. I tried extracting the pages using the tips from this and other threads, but it was not possible (the extraction button was faint and unusable apparently because there is some signature/certification/restriction). Once more, for at least four saves, saving the exact file that is the subject of my post was not problematic. Additionally, I had no luck printing to a PDF file. The program informed me that it cannot print a signed or certified (I can’t remember which) document. I tried a few of the additional suggestions made in this thread and elsewhere. Thus, where a PDF is created and has a signature or a certificate, at least with regard to my document, I believe Adobe’s program has what appears to be an intermittent bug that is unfixable — at least as far as I can tell after four hours of looking up potential fixes.
Dec. 18, 2021– Error 105 when opening/saving XFA files embedded in PDFs (fillable forms): I was able to “Save a Copy” of the PDF that retained the completed fields and digital signature. Halfway down the FILE drop-down menu is “Save as Copy.” [Separate from Save and Save as. [Adobe popup claims it failed to save the copy, but the completed copy was saved.

Next, I tried Save a Copy to Microsoft, which was successful and simple. In order for me to continue editing the form, it saved the form with all of the entries and the fillable feature turned on.
Dear Adobe: These explanations are laughably stupid and do not address the issue at hand. I don’t want to keep losing work due to a bug in the program because I repeatedly fill out the same forms, and this error appears at random. I dont want a work-around; I want a fix.
